Raudonė Castle is surrounded by an old park adorned with tree avenues. The park also features some rare trees. Unfortunately, the Gedimino Oak, the third oldest oak in Lithuania and more than eight hundred years old, is no longer green. According to legend, it was under this oak that Grand Duke Gediminas of Lithuania had his last meal before heading to Veliuona.
