Palumpiai Manor is first mentioned in written sources from 1660, though some records suggest it dates back to 1542. The surviving architecture of the manor buildings reflects the Prussian and historicism periods, characterized by a "brick style."

The manor's masonry palace is notable for its rare neomarist-style pediment in Lithuania. This prominent feature on the main facade is the most striking accent of the palace, drawing attention with its gracefully wavy outline. It is believed that the palace was constructed in the latter half of the 19th century.

Fragments of the manor's park remain in the central part of the estate, around the palace, and to the northeast on the steep bank of the Lumpė River.
