Pakisis Hillfort is located in the Šilalė District, between Pakisis and Pajūris, on the right bank of the Jūra River near the Kisė River confluence.
The hillfort features an oval, elongated platform extending in an east-west direction. Its southern and western sides are encircled by a 6-meter-high, 36-meter-wide rampart, with an external slope of 11 meters in height leading down to a 9-meter-wide, 3-meter-deep ditch. The hillfort is covered with deciduous trees.
At the western foot of the hillfort, within a 1-hectare area, there is a settlement where remnants of molded and fired pottery and clay plaster have been found. Approximately 150 meters northeast, there is the Kunigiškiai cemetery dating from the 10th to 13th centuries, which was investigated in 1971.
