Initially, steam engines operated in it, later replaced by electric motors. Until the Second World War, a sawmill also operated there. Unfortunately, the half-timbered structure with red brick filling was concealed behind plaster in 1988. The founding year of the company, 1922, is still preserved on the main facade. The motor mill holds historical, technical, and architectural value. After the war, the "Jūra" mill operated here, grinding grain, operating a boiler, and cutting timber. In the 1970s, the mill was unused, and a monument workshop was set up here. The half-timbered building from the early 20th century is an important object in the city's development. Also valuable is the technological equipment that has survived in it. The mill, as a cultural heritage object, is included in the "Cultural Heritage and History Symbols of Tauragė City" route.
