Exhibition "History Incubator"

At the "History Incubator" exhibition in Vilkyškiai, you will be amazed by the abundance of interactive activities, which are set up in one of the former buildings of the Vilkyškiai manor, specifically in the stables.

Here, you will find:

• 3D-animated films "Journey to Tilsit" that will reveal the subtleties of the signing of the Treaty of Tilsit, the reasons for Queen Louise’s visits to Tilsit, Piktupėnai, and Klaipėda, and immerse you in the mythological world of Rambynas Hill.
• Interactive historical educational quiz game, controlled remotely. Its goal is to help you learn more about the history of East Prussia by discovering simple yet incredible historical facts.
• Interactive "Narrow Gauge Railway" wall, which allows you to travel from Pagėgiai or Tilsit all the way to Smalininkai, the border of Little Lithuania. Through this game, you can explore and learn about "poverty money," discover what goods were important to the people living here at the time, what they grew, and what the farmers of this region traded.
• Information terminal that allows you to independently explore the map and discover historical sites in Western Lithuania.
