The Church of St. Barbara in Teneniai features folk architectural forms with Baroque elements. It has a cross-shaped plan and includes a small tower. The church's surrounding cemetery is enclosed by a stone masonry wall. Within the cemetery, there is a wooden bell tower with two tiers and a Lourdes grotto. Nearby, in the square adjacent to the cemetery, the Teneniai Oak is preserved.
