The Vincas Grybas Memorial Museum, dedicated to the monumental sculptor Vincas Grybas, was established in 1956 in the depths of the Jurbarkas Manor Park, within the former offices, laundry, and blacksmith’s shop of Prince Vasilchikov. Here, after his art studies in Paris (1928–1941), lived the renowned Lithuanian sculptor Vincas Grybas, who met a tragic end. The museum displays personal items of the sculptor, furniture, and works of art: fragments of monuments, bas-reliefs, details of sculptures, projects, drawings, and folk art collected during his lifetime. It also features a permanent exhibition of facsimiles by Lida Meškaitytė, a famous 20th-century miniature artist from the Minor Lithuania region.
