The origins of the manor can be traced back to the 14th century. Significant activity at the estate began in 1525 when Šereitlaukis became a domain of the Prussian Duke. The estate featured a two-mill grain mill, a large flock of sheep, and various craftsmen. Later, a large horse farm was established, along with extensive vegetable and grain cultivation, and a distillery.
In the early 19th century, a straight 2 km avenue was constructed westward from the manor house to the estate's cemetery, where a small chapel once stood. Today, only the name "Koplyčkalnis" and the remnants of the avenue remain. In the early 20th century, a distillery was established, along with a mixed-type park and a system of ponds.
During World War I, the manor house was destroyed by fire, and World War II completely razed the building. During the Soviet era, farm buildings were constructed, which have since become ruins following the restoration of independence.
