The museum, established in 1994 in the northern wing of the former Dukes of Vasilchikov's manor, features two main exhibitions. These reflect the medieval period—highlighting the struggles against the Teutonic Knights—as well as the history and culture of Jurbarkas manor and town.
In the Medieval Hall, visitors can handle and view replicas of armor, weapons, and ammunition, Teutonic and Lithuanian flags, and interact with an informational terminal-table. A model depicting the system of wooden castles allows for military-themed games with movable figures.
The Manor History and Culture Hall exhibits photographs, maps, town plans, and artifacts related to the town’s history. Visitors can also dress up in late 19th-century clothing from the manor's wardrobe and take photographs.
