Pajūrio Švč. Trejybės bažnyčia

The Church of the Holy Trinity in Pajūris is designed in the late Classical style with a rectangular plan and a portico supported by six columns. It has a single tower and features five altars. The churchyard is enclosed by a stone wall.

The church was originally built by Count Valavičius of the Pajūris estate in 1780 as a filial of the Žvingiai parish. In 1830, the faithful constructed a new masonry church, which was restored in 1898, and new altars were added. Bishop Pranciškus Karevičius consecrated the church in 1919. The parish was established in 1912.

In 1935, Kazys Nausėda donated 50 hectares of land and masonry buildings, including a mill, sawmill, and wool-spinning factory, to the Franciscans of Kretinga. The Franciscans established a novitiate in Pajūris. However, in 1941, the monks relocated to Kretinga, where a farm school was set up. Father Klemensas Arlauskas (1910–1991), who served as the parish priest from 1947, was arrested and exiled on February 6, 1949. He returned to Lithuania in 1956.
