"Kugelinės" is a tradition that existed over a hundred years ago in the Obelynas region. On August 25, 2024, at 1:00 PM, the Obelynas Multifunctional Center's recreation area will host the Traditional Culinary Heritage Festival-Competition "Kugelinės."
Program:
- 1:00 PM: Opening of the "Kugelinės" festival, introduction of competition participants.
- 1:30 PM: Kugelis cooking workshop and tasting.
- 2:00 PM: SKRABALMAN SHOW (featuring TV show participant and xylophone virtuoso Karolis Šileika).
- 3:00 PM: Concert by the folklore ensemble "Dainoriai" (led by Paulius Kablys).
- 4:00 PM: Kugelis eating championship (on-site registration).
- 4:30 PM: Awards for competition participants.
During the event, there will be a "Wooden Games Corner" (games organized by "Vertimų pramogos") and outdoor market vendors.
The hosts eagerly await your presence at this traditional culinary heritage festival. Come, showcase yourself, meet others, and enjoy some delicious kugelis!
