Richard (Mantas Vaitiekūnas) plays the lottery and one day, luck is on his side! He wins one hundred sixty-two million euros. Richard is thrilled by this unexpected fortune, but also fears the changes it will bring to his life...
With just hours left before the prize claim deadline, the lucky winner calls his mother (Larisa Kalpokaitė), best friend (Valentinas Krulikovskis), and his wife Kamile (Milda Noreikaitė) to make a life-changing decision. Richard is convinced that this money will disrupt their life’s balance, even though his loved ones will try to change his mind.
What starts as a joyful evening unexpectedly turns into a sharp, comical drama full of amusing situations. The main characters face the dilemma: Is happiness found in the money or in its quantity? Will they dare to face this new challenge?
Big Money spins heads and the situation becomes uncontrollable... Flavia Coste’s play humorously contrasts our relationships with money, loved ones, and everyone around us.
